Hey, I’m Dahl! I am a Canadian girl, born and raised. My passions revolve around art, the beach, animals, and hockey! Describing my design style, I would say it leans towards whimsical, minimalist, and illustrative. Bright and pastel colours, along with inviting and fun designs, hold a special place in my heart. I genuinely believe that graphic design plays a crucial role in today’s society, requiring a combination of passion, time, and skill to create impactful designs.
I hold a diploma in photography from Fanshawe College, studied Art History at Western, and wrapping up an advanced diploma in Graphic Design. My areas of specialization include layouts, illustrations, logos & brand design, and photography. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, XD, and Figma, I also have experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro. Over the past two years, I’ve been a graphic designer at Digital Extremes, creating various graphic assets for different platforms.
As I look ahead, my journey in design continues, fuelled by a desire to grow and develop my skills further. I am eager to explore various software, techniques, and mediums, embracing new challenges and opportunities in the dynamic field of graphic design.
